Most social service agencies in the NWA-ASTD area rely on their volunteers to do a host of activities. In many of these agencies, volunteers a main interface with clients who need specialized attention and have specific needs. Choosing volunteers that are not only able to handle tasks, but additionally manage and build relationships while remaining calm during stressful situations is of high importance for both the clients and their agency.

This 1.5-hour program will be lead by Kristal Mooney, Sr. Director in Talent Development at Walmart. Mrs. Mooney has years of experience in HR and Talent Development, including the facilitation and use of behavioral interviewing. 

This class will prepare participants to:

1. Create questions that reflect needed competencies for the role being hired.

2. Conduct interviews using behavioral based questions.

3. Analysis and interpret candidate answers so you make the best decision with the information given.

The program will include a 30-minute Q&A with Mrs. Mooney

This program is free and open to all professionals, although the focus is for those working in the Not-For-Profit arena.
