If you have ever pondered the question, Is implementation the last thing you do or is it your foundation? - this fourth session of the NWA-ASTD Deconstructing ADDIE series  is for you!  Follow your curious mind and join us for lunch as we explore the answer (or answers) to this provocative question.  As you may have guessed, this will not be your usual sit and listen-type of session.  An interactive activity will be implemented (pun intended) to demonstrate program objectives.

Objectives

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Consider when and how thinking about the Implementation stage begins
  • Plan for Implementation based on the intended audience
  • Incorporate Implementation planning into the Analysis and Design phases of the ADDIE model

Our presenter is Jennifer Haas, Project Manager for the Sam's Club Talent Development team.  In this role, she supports the development needs of field management associates.  Jennifer states, “I have had the pleasure of working for Sam’s Club for 6 years, focusing on the leadership development of associates across the organization.”

Jennifer’s background includes leadership training experience from both corporate and university settings. Previous roles include The Soderquist Center where she served as a Design and Delivery Manager/Facilitator and a Curricula Developer/Facilitator for Tyson Foods, Inc.  In addition to that experience, Jennifer has taught communication skills and coached competitive speech and debate at various institutions of higher education.  Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Organizational Communication from Murray State University.

 

In her free time Jennifer enjoys traveling, spending time with family and her cats, and cheering on the Razorbacks.
